On-site school coordinators are the backbone of LA GEAR UP, and the success of this program greatly depends upon the work you do representing LA GEAR UP to parents, staff, and students. We also very much appreciate your assistance in providing LA GEAR UP with the data and information we need to comply with federal regulations.
Some of you have contacted us with questions about implementing LA GEAR UP initiatives, so we have created this page to address your questions and concerns.
Please notice on the navigational bar (at the right) that we have created links to a number of topics of interest. These topic headings will evolve as we continue to hear from you over time.
Please continue to share your thoughts and concerns with LA GEAR UP staff.

LA GEAR UP is happy to announce the birth of its mailing list. The LA GEAR UP ListServ aims to serve as a tool for all on-site school coordinators and interested school personnel. Our goals are to:
1. increase communication between on-site school coordinators and LA GEAR UP staff;
2. offer a space for questions, concerns, and suggestions about LA GEAR UP;
3. provide announcements and reminders regarding updates about special LA GEAR UP activities and deadlines; and
4. encourage networking by providing a space for discussion of pedagogical issues.
To send a question, comment, or other bit of information to the ListServ, simply send an email to REGENTS-LAGU-COORD@LISTSERV.REGENTS.LA.GOV.
